Materials Science and Engineering

MS without Thesis

The aim of the non-thesis master’s program in Materials Science and Engineering is to provide the student with the basic knowledge required at the graduate level, to gain the ability to conduct research using this knowledge and to teach research topics brought about by the latest developments in materials science and engineering. This way, it aims to further enhance the knowledge base of young engineering and science graduates currently working in the industry, contributing to their specialization in the fields they are engaged in. At the same time, our program enables newly graduated Engineering and Science Faculty students to specialize in Materials Science and Engineering, ensuring they become more productive and high-quality professionals in their careers. As a principle, it is not possible for a student enrolled in the non-thesis master’s program to transition directly to the relevant Ph.D. program within the Institute. However, in cases where the student can meet the specified conditions for applying to the relevant Ph.D. program within the Institute, they may be considered for admission to the respective program.
