Chemical And Biological Engineering

MS without Thesis

Chemical and Biological Engineering Non-Thesis Master’s Program is an interdisciplinary program that combines chemical engineering with systems biology. The program aims to educate individuals who can conduct pioneering scientific research in this field or related disciplines, both in Turkey and abroad, and who have the potential to become future national and international academic leaders. In addition, individuals working in the industry who seek to enhance their skills in the areas mentioned above can also benefit from the program. In this way, joint research will be carried out with companies. Chemical and Biological Engineering Non-Thesis Master’s Program is designed to evaluate the potential in the fields of food, pharmaceuticals, health, chemistry, materials, and energy. It aims to equip individuals from relevant scientific disciplines with the knowledge of contemporary technological developments in these areas. As a principle, it is not possible for a student enrolled in the non-thesis master’s program to transition directly to the relevant Ph.D. program within the Institute. However, in cases where the student can meet the specified conditions for applying to the relevant Ph.D. program within the Institute, they may be considered for admission to the respective program.

Degree Requirements

Chemical and Biological Engineering non-thesis master program consists of 10 courses of at least 30 credits, seminar course and term project.

Students are required to complete at least thirty (30) credits by taking at least ten (10) required and elective courses according to their areas of interest. Unless stated otherwise, courses are 3 credits.
