AKMED ARCHAEOLOGY SUMMER SCHOOL: EPHESUS

CURRENT INFORMATION: AKMED EPHESUS SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.

The Ephesus Summer School will be held between August 19-24, 2024, in collaboration with the Austrian Archaeological Institute's Ephesus Excavations Directorate and Koç University AKMED.

 Ten undergraduate students from the archaeology and art history departments of universities in Turkey have been accepted to the AKMED Archaeology Summer School. As part of the training, students will receive theoretical knowledge in archaeology and excavation sciences. The lessons will be conducted in Ephesus by members involved in the Ephesus excavations, aimed at students who wish to gain excavation experience and knowledge about the ancient city of Ephesus and regional archaeology. The Summer School is free of charge.
