Dr. Ergen's research interests encompass the fields of chemistry
physics
materials science
and electrical engineering. He is building next-generation electronic devices by focusing on the integration of nanoscale electronic materials. He develops unique architectures and devices for various technological applications
including 2D electronics
flexible circuits and sensors
and energy harvesting and storage. He is also applying artificial intelligence to various energy concepts such as renewable energy integration
energy efficiency
and smart grid.
